Robinson Crusoe, by Daniel Defoe is one of the classic novels in English Literature. It is considered to be the first English novel, and thus it has a slightly different writing style than what is customary now.

The Bad: The writing style is somewhat repetitive, and slow at times. It jumps forwards and backwards in time, though it more represents someone telling a story than you living the events as they occur.

The Good: I am a fan of stories that involve survival in the wild. Crusoe has to survive on a deserted island for years, and makes steady improvements in his way of life. There are some other similar stories with more adventure, but this was pleasent to read as well.

Overall, the book was a decent read. I'd recomment it for those interested in reading the classics, but there are better stories out there with more action if that is what you are in for.
